Tomáš Hlava is a graphic designer working primarily with typefaces, their contexts, and histories across visual identities, book, and editorial design. He received his MFA in Graphic Design from the Yale School of Art, a BA from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, and a DiS. from VOŠ Scholastika in Prague.

He is currently based in New York City and works as a freelance designer on both project-based commissions and retainer-based collaborations.
